The Future Woolscapes Sub-program examined a range of key issues that may impact on the world and thus the wool industry over the next 25 years. Some of the issues considered by the project included climate change, environmental and animal welfare pressures, competitive fibres, opportunities from new technologies, new uses for wool and the changing face of consumer preferences. Reports (each about 10 to 15 pages) were commissioned on each subject from experts in the field. Not particularly relevant for woolgrowers (except those wanting detailed information on specific issues).
